CCSLA was formed in 1983. It provides staff development for librarians and advocacy for school library programs. Mentoring programs, Bristlecone Storytelling Festival, Poetry Jam, Nevada Young Readers, and Battle of the Books are a few of the flagship programs of CCSLA . We strive to advocate the necessity of school libraries administered by certified teacher librarians and their influence on student achievement and school community.
